I have always found it difficult to come up with a succinct answer
to the question, "What kind of art do you do?" a few years ago
I realized why.
I was in the midst of describing a painting when I realized that
although my description was accurate I could imagine many other
pictures that would be equally well described by the same description.
Then I wondered, 'What in the world could the person hearing the
description be imaging?'
Now I give them a card with my web site address (URL) on it, www.WallinStudios.com , and ask them to visit and see for themselves. How would they,
or you, describe my art?
The image: A photograph of a favorite model, see right, combined with a bit of wordplay, made on my first computer, a Mac, LC II, when I did not have any graphics programs.
Both the photograph and this digital version are available for
purchase.
